Well, I had my Dr's appointment today, and it seems like everything is going well with our little guy. I measured 33 1/2 and gained 1 1/2 lbs. That is measuring slightly larger than "normal," but the baby doesn't grow exactly the same amount every single week, and this week seemed to be a bit of a growth spurt. I'm not preparing for a 12 lb baby yet anyway! He is still head-down, so hopefully he will stay that way for us.

Little Brad was with me at the Dr's appointment and felt the baby move, so he has been asking all day what "Julie's baby" was doing. It is hard to know if he really gets the concept of me having a baby in my tummy. He points to my tummy a lot and talks about the baby, and if we are out and about and see a baby he talks about that baby, but I have no idea if he really connects the two. I think it will be a shock to him when we have a little guy here all the time. Little Brad is used to getting almost constant attention from Anthony and I while he is here. At the same time, he really loves babies and loves to help with them, so he might do just fine with it all. I guess only time will tell.

I have still been really run down and exhausted easily, so I asked the Dr. about my anemia again. When she checked to see what it had been last time they drew blood she said the number was tremendously low, so they would go ahead and draw more blood today to check the numbers again. I have been taking iron supplements since I found out that my levels were low, but they haven't agreed with me very well, and it has been pretty hard to get/keep down as much as I needed. When they checked again today my levels had dropped even lower to a level that I am at risk for pre-term labor, so I am going to try a prescription iron supplement called Repliva. Have any of you been on that before??? Anyway, pray that my numbers will come up, and that I will be able to tolerate this better. As with all drugs, it has quite a few potential side effects, so hopefully those will not be a problem.
