Today was the final baby shower for our little one. We have really had a lot more than I ever anticipated, and they have all been really special. Thank you so much to everyone who had a part in it all.

My friend Lori Brown and her daughters, Hannah and Isabelle, threw the shower for Anthony and I, and it was wonderful. It was a brunch shower (my favorite foods!) and the whole thing was tremendously comfortable and relaxed. One of the games was for teams to decorate onesies. They turned out great. I am amazed at the creativity and artistic ability of my friends!!!! One of the other activities was to write down a piece of advise or inspiration for the new mommy or daddy, and on a separate card, write a note to our baby telling them something about either Anthony or myself. It was so fun to read all the cards and take in the advise. I know our little guy will enjoy reading all the notes written to him when he gets older. It was a day we will look back on with great memories for years to come.
