the belated Wednesday post

8:51 AM

I had intended to post a little something yesterday about how I was honing my time wasting skills, but apparently I am much more talented at wasting time than even I realized, because before I got a chance to write anything, I was out of time.

In case you are wondering how you too could pass hours of time, all the while accomplishing virtually nothing, here are a few things you could try.

#1. Start randomly going through blogrolls, and catching up on the lives of people you do not even know. This has proven to be one of the number one ways to waste time as I wait for this little bambino to arrive. In case you too are looking to pass hours of time, check out these links!

We came, we shopped, we wrapped, we conquered - Love the part about the body pillow! Since becoming pregnant with the bambino, my poor husband has had to load our car to capacity for comfort sake, and drag in the huge body pillow for every overnight trip. It was so nice to find a kindred spirit: someone who truly sees the body pillow for what it is - a necessity.

or, if you are more in the mood for a little romance, you can check out this site

Black Heels to Tractor Wheels: A Love Story

Disclaimers: The love story is only up to part 22, and judging from all the comments, quite a suspenseful story, so you may be drawn in, and then find yourself checking back again and again to see if there is an update.

Disclaimer #2: I haven't read all the posts, so if you find something to be offensive, I am very sorry!

#2. Check out Craigslist to see what all is for sale that you have absolutely no use for, but is a really good price! Craigslist is like a big online garage sale. It is amazing what you can find, and what is even more amazing are the things that you have absolutely no use for, that you somehow talk yourself into needing! This really is an excellent time waster.

#3. Call your friends and fill them in on everything you are reading online about people's lives that you don't even know, and about what is on Craigslist that you don't need. This can be quite effective to not only waste your time, but to waste your friends' time as well!

#4. Spend time writing blog entries about your absolutely mundane life, and then post them to the internet to once again waste the time of your friends. LOL

Ok, on to the stuff you actually want to know.

Yes, I of course, am still pregnant, but not for much longer. I had a apt with my midwife yesterday and had planned on most likely NOT getting induced tomorrow morning, but my tummy is measuring smaller and smaller (going backwards is not a good thing) and so they think that either the baby is no longer getting the nutrients he needs from the placenta, or I do not have as much amniotic fluid as I need. So, we are going to stick with our appointment to induce tomorrow, although we have been praying fervently that I will go into labor on my own. My mom did come down last night, so anytime this little guy decides he is ready to come, we are ready for him.

Little Brad is anxious for me to go watch Polar Express with him, so I had better wrap this up. It has been fun for him to be here again. It had been quite a while since he came and stayed with us, and has been calling me almost daily to chat and ask when he could come. Last night when he got here he hugged me for several minutes and said over and over "Missed you." It was so precious. We then had to check out ALL the baby stuff, put a little diaper on the teddy bear, and then put the teddy in bed to sleep, just like what we will do with the baby.

OK, better go watch Polar Express!!!!!
