with only a few short minutes left in this day, I think it is safe to say that today will not be the day our little bambino decides to make his appearance into this world. I have carefully followed all the advice many of you have given to me, and at this point I am pretty sure that it is all NO GOOD! LOL.

Fresh Pineapple: although delicious and quite refreshing... nothing
Red Raspberry Leaf Tea: Soothing and warming to the very core.... but, no baby yet
Rail Road Tracks and bumpy roads: Crossed them multiple times today, but here I sit blogging
Long walks: Does 3 hours in Walmart count???? All that I really managed to accomplish there was a rather large tab at the checkout counter.
Other (ahem) advise: still nothing, although it was fun!

Even the prediction of my Chiropractor, who is by the way almost never wrong was not enough to entice this little guy out! I guess he is just enjoying his stay, and I must say that I am not minding it too much either. I HATE the WAITING game, but don't mind being pregnant. The little movements are so much fun. Tonight every time I poked my tummy, our bambino would respond with a kick. It was so much fun to play. He loves it when is daddy talks to him, or rubs my tummy, and that is one of the coolest things to see as a mom. I am amazed at their connection already. Other people can put their hand on my tummy and he will just ignore them, but if Anthony does, he knows right away that it is him. My Aunt LaVila asked last night if I had had any burst of energy and done things like clean out the closets and scour the floors. The crazy thing is that this whole month I have had tons of energy and have cleaned out closets, decorated for the holidays at home and at church, rearranged cupboards, done lots of cleaning, a good amount of nesting in the nursery to make sure that everything is just perfect, cooking, and shopping. Maybe the problem is that we are just too prepared. Maybe if the house wasn't ready, and we didn't have our bags packed and loaded in the car, maybe then the bambino would come! Who knows :-)

I guess we will all have to just wait and see what happens now. No amount of guessing or prodding is going to make a difference apparently! And, I am ok with that-- I'm loving every minute.
