It was one year ago today that we found out about you! Oh, Daddy and I were so excited! What a special year you have made it for us. I remember the exact moment we saw the word "pregnant" pop up on the test. We were so excited we just started giggling. One of mommy's friends said she thought I might be pregnant because I just looked so happy all the time. I couldn't stop smiling.

You are such a special gift from God to your Daddy and me. Every day you bring smiles to my face. I never realized how much joy I was missing from my life until I had you.

You are learning more and more tricks to do to impress Mommy and Daddy every day. You have been hanging out in your "car" quite a bit, but just the other day your "drove" it for the first time. You looked so cute with an expression that conveyed you could conquer anything. As you took your first steps forward you just looked at me and grinned so big. It melted my heart.

You are becoming such a little charmer. You love to talk and smile at anyone around who will pay attention to you, and usually finding someone is no problem at all! Grandma and Grandpa, and Nana and Papa are always asking us when they will get to see you again, and if we could come visit again soon when it is time to go. I think they are looking forward to when you get a little bit bigger and can come and stay with them some. That will be so much fun.

As much as I am looking forward seeing who you are and what you become as you grow, I somehow hope that you will just stay little. I love the way you nestle into me as I rock you softly. You grin up at me with that little toothless grin every time we sit in the rocking chair; you know what it coming, and you like it. I hope you like to be rocked until you no longer fit on Mommy's lap!
