Watch Me Grow! Month 3
11:59 PMIt's that time again! Another month has flown by!!!
Here is the latest picture of Tucker and his Teddy bear. To see how much he has grown over the past 3 months, click here.
Tucker is starting to work on all kinds of new tricks. He is rolling over quite a bit more now. It is still usually just from his tummy to his back. He is SO HAPPY all the time and is the joy of my life.
Since St. Patrick's Day is this month, we decided to get festive!One cool dude!
We have been enjoying quite a few new activities. One of the latest things to do is go cruzin' in his baby-mobile.
Tucker is also getting the hang of his Bumbo and likes to sit up with his Daddy and I for dinner.
A little over a week ago the weather was amazing here and we went for our first family walk. We had such a great time. The temperature was over 60 degrees and the air smelled like spring. You know- that fresh dirt smell! I am not sure if you can truly appreciate that if you are not from a farming community. On our walk we saw the first robin of the season.
Tucker just looked around and took it all in...
Then he just zonked out.Being out with my baby reminded me of some of the things I did with my mom. I remember in the spring time she would recite this poem for us.
We have a secret, just we threeIsn't it great? I can't wait to teach it to Tucker.
The robin, and I, and the sweet cherry tree;
The robin told the tree and the tree told me
And nobody knows it but just us three.
But of course the robin knows it best
Because she built the --I shant tell the rest'
And laid the four little --something in it-
I'm afraid I shall tell every minute!
But if the tree and the robin don't peep
I'll try my best the secret to keep;
Though I know when the little birds fly about
Then the whole secret will be out.
I love the spring season!
Smiles for Mommy are a regular thing around here these days, but special every time.
