Yummy

T has started eating foods (actually has been for about 6 weeks now) and seems to LOVE everything he can get his little hands on. I have been trying to educate myself about what to give a 7 month old, and recipes for making my own baby food. I have a wonderful little baby food grinder that I have tried a few things in and so far it has worked like a charm. We have some ideas of new things to try (Gerber doesn't have much variety for 1st Stage Foods) but are looking for more ideas to provide a variety of nutrition. So far he has had squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, peaches, applesauce, bananas, peas, rainier cherries, prunes, rice cereal and of course the baby staple- Cheerios. I have been thinking about trying watermelon, cantaloupe, pumpkin, steamed cabbage, avocado and beets. T seems to be ready for anything I have sent his way so far. I haven't found a ton of info so far, but is there any fruit/vegetable that is not safe for babies?

So, any suggestions?

Do you have any books or websites that have been helpful to you?

What did your baby just love to eat?
