Dear T,

You have amazed mama with all you have learned over the past month. Your adorable personality is showing through more and more each day. You have been doing so many new things. You aren't walking on your own yet, but man you really go with your little walker toy! I know when you do start walking on your own it will be at full speed ahead.

Over the past few weeks you have been so loving to mama and daddy. You have never been much of a snuggler, but you have started giving us hugs, just to show you care. It is the most precious feeling in the world to me when you lay your head on my shoulder and pat my back with your tiny little hand. I know that there is nothing better to daddy when he gets home than when you greet him with one of your million dollar toothy smiles and a hug. Even the worst day seems just fine all of the sudden.

Every day you are looking more like daddy. You have his coloring, his gorgeous eyes, his fat feet... I hope that as you grow you not only look like daddy, but that you would grow to be like him in character. He is such a great man and example for you to follow. He is a man of integrity, wisdom, love, and kindness. There is nothing more I would want for you than to grow up to be just like him.

Communication has gotten a bit easier lately since you are finally catching on to sign language. You sign and say "more" and we are working on several others. You are really quite good at letting us know what it is you want and need, even without the sign language!

Another new accomplishment for you is mastering the sippy cup. It took a little while, but once we got it figured out, now you love it!

You are such a busy go getter. It is almost a daily occurrence for mama to find you digging in the cupboard to get your cheerios out. If I am lucky, I catch you before you have them out and all over the floor. You never forget a thing!

You are my helper all over the house. If I am working in the kitchen, you are working in the kitchen. If I am busy in the office, you are busy in the office. LOL. You are a great companion.


Daddy calls you the "Big Cheese." That name is pretty appropriate in so many ways. You are a great boss, but you sure assign mama a lot of work!

The other night mama and daddy went on a date while you played with the babysitter. You amazed us when we got back and I was reading a book you had read with Nenny, that you knew what actions went with the pages. Elmo was the book you loved the most, and if mama was forgetting to point at Elmo's nose, you would just grab my finger and show me what I needed to do. Reading is something you enjoy more and more all the time.

We love you so much T. I can't believe it has been almost a whole year that you have been with daddy and I, although, for as much as we love you, if feels like you have been with us for a lifetime.
