The shoemakers children have no shoes
3:38 PMThroughout my lifetime I have heard many stories/comments about how somehow you manage to get all kinds of things done for other people, but what ever your profession is, you are not as proficient on getting it done for your family.
I remember one time in particular shortly before A and I got married. He is a mechanic, so during one of those 'advise' moments that happen so often before a big event in your life, it was mentioned that I would probably always have a broken down car.
Fortunately for us, A is not a car mechanic, but a tractor mechanic, and I don't really care if my combine works, so we're good.
As I am sure you have checked my blog recently, you know I got my Christmas present the other day -- my beautiful new camera! I am ashamed to admit that even though my sweet baby is already 14 months old, I have never gotten his 12 or 13 month watch me grow pictures up. How can this happen??? Apparently the old saying is true. I have been working on some other blog projects as well as photography projects, so I guess this one has been a bit neglected.
Yesterday we had beautiful weather here, so T and I headed outside for some fun and some pictures. I promise to share a little bit of our day with you soon.
