Daddy's Home!

My handsome boys

Wow. It has really been a long time since this blog has lived up to its purpose. So much has changed in my little guys life, and I feel like it is happening in a whirlwind! I don't want to forget a moment of the way he says his little words he is learning, or how he looks, or how I feel around my little man. He is my constant companion. We are best buds. My life feels strange without him at my side. He makes me laugh when laughing is the farthest thing from my mind. I love him so much at times that it hurts.

Daddy's helper.

I am tempted to try to go back and blog the last several months, but I am thinking maybe it would be best to give a status report of right now. Tucker is almost 22 months now. It is impossible to believe that T will be 2. When I think back to my pregnancy with him, it feels like it was just a couple of months ago, not 2 1/2 years ago.

Camping with our Fremont Friends. Seemed like a great place for T!

T is talking so much. He attempts to say most everything. He has figured out that my name is 'Mum.' He goes around and says "Mum, mum, mum, mum,...." over and over again just to hear me respond to him over and over again. He has been saying "mama" for a long time, but just figured out that it is how to get my attention and address his needs to me specifically. He says Dad too, but doesn't say it over and over just for A to respond. I know all you moms out there are shocked.

T is also saying Bop Bop (Papa) Nana (he usually sings this), Brad (sound pretty close actually), Tia (sings this as well), Grandma, and Grandpa. He says truck, combine, tractor, ball, cup, tub, snack, juice, milk, snack, stuck, sock, shoe, hat, hot, warm, up, down, mmm, yum, yum, yum, there-you-go (all smushed into one word), your-welcome, thank you, toot-toot (for train), meow, woof-woof, quack-quack, some funny variation of a horse's neigh, book, and many more I can't recall right now.
T loves to read. Thanks Nenny for the book!

He is much more interactive, a creature of habit, social, determined, and a destruct-mobile. He keeps me on my toes all the time. In fact, the only way I am able to type this right now is because I wore him out at Vala's Pumpkin Patch yesterday and he is still tired and currently napping.
Vala's Pumpkin Patch. We LOVED these things.

T has been so affectionate lately. He initiates hugs and kisses a lot, and always comes to get his owies kissed, even though I don't remember ever teaching him that kisses make it better. One of my favorite tricks of his is when he blows me kisses. I never get tired of seeing that!
Mom - are you comin'?

Well, I am pretty sure my time here is very limited, so I better get some pictures up before it is too late.

see. I do exist in my child's life!
