Meeting Rhonda was wonderful. She is a person that seems to glorify God in everything she talks about. It was a great experience to sit on her couch, look at her pictures on the wall and browse through her scrapbooks. I have to tell you, I was expecting these pristinely crafted scrapbooks that had every paper, sticker and cropped picture in place. What I found was a beautiful collection of photo books that reflected Rhonda's life story. Simplicity was key and the pages reflected stories rather than beautiful crafting. It was truly inspirational to me!

I could sum up her presentation with the phrase "Tell Your Story." She recently wrote a book that I adore called Ten Questions. It is totally worth the investment, especially if you have always wanted to leave a part of yourself for you children, but don't know where to start.

My goal for 2011 is going to be to start writing down the stories that make up our lives. We have traditions, favorite memories, and beliefs that I want the next generation to understand. I want Tucker to remember our good times long after I am gone. I want him to know how his Daddy and I met and about our dating, how I knew I would marry him, and stories of our wedding. I want him to know how badly we wanted him, how long we prayed and waited, and the Miracle of his life. I want him to know how much we treasure him and the dreams and hopes we have for him.
