registering and the latest on the baby bump
11:56 AMwell, we took all our measurements, made all our lists, and skipped off to register for what is supposed to be EVERYTHING we will need to welcome our little one into our home.
(Somehow I have a feeling we missed a few things)
It was a lot of fun looking at everything and deciding what we wanted, if we should put it on a registry, or if it is the type of thing that people will just naturally get, and want to pick out themselves. The first place we went was Babies R Us. Talk about a baby superstore! They had so much to choose from. We found all kinds of items ( I am sure some are more practical than others!) and several things that I didn't even know existed. Those of you with more experience will have to check out my list and see if I forgot anything really important.
Next we went to Wal-Mart and finished our registry there. I would have to say that Wal-Mart is probably the more parent friendly one; if you get multiples of things and need to take something back, it is not a problem at Wal-Mart. At Babies R Us, you have to have the ORIGINAL (not the gift) receipt to return something and get a refund instead of store credit. That seemed like unnecessary stress for a new mom. Over all it was a pleasant experience.
For those of you who have been HOUNDING me for a new fatty picture, here it is! Enjoy!!!
