Dear Tucker

Today Mommy and Daddy dedicated you to the Lord. It was such a special moment. We did it not to ensure your salvation into heaven, but more as a commitment to raise you to love the Lord. We know that you are a special gift to us from the Lord, and we wanted to publicly give you back to Him for whatever He would want for you. Sometimes thinking about that is difficult, but we believe and know that God's plan is greater for you than our plan, and his love is greater than our love.

It was a special day as Nana, Papa, Grandma, Grandpa and many of your aunts and uncles came to witness your dedication, and celebrate you with us. Also, a very special man to your mommy, Pastor Lyle DeFord, performed the dedication service. Almost 28 years ago he officiated a very similar service when Nana and Papa dedicated Mommy.
