The Novel

Ok friends. I know it has been long overdue to post here, so grab your cup of coffee, and make sure you are comfortable. This has the potential to be long!

hummm. Where do I start?

My baby brother left for boot camp on May 21th. He doesn't look much like a baby anymore, huh. When do you think that happened?

This past Memorial Day weekend we headed up to A's parent's for a little visit, and from there went to Long Pine to visit my Aunt and Uncle who were in Nebraska for a very special class reunion. While we were up there we also went out to my Great Aunt's house. She played the piano for us as we sang and it brought back so many memories of my Grandma. Grandma passed away just a little over 4 years ago, but hearing her sister play the piano for us was like she was back for just a moment. We had a great time. T seemed to enjoy the visit too!

In very exciting news, our swingset is up!!!!

A very special thanks to Josh and Sarah for coming over on Monday and getting it all set up. It has been really rainy here, so T and I haven't been out much to play yet, but we tried it out on Monday and he LOVED it.

Speaking of Monday... A and I have officially been married 7 years. Sounds like a lot, don't you think? I was telling a friend of mine that something about 7 sounds like a whole lot more than just 6. I guess it feels like 7 is suddenly closer to 10, and EVERYONE KNOWS that being married 10 years is a long time... most likely if you have been married 10 years you are no longer in your 20's... the best years of your life (LOL) and you are suddenly old... and 30 something!!!!! Yes, for all of you wondering right now, my previous perspective of 10 years being a long time, and the 20's being the best years of your life, and 30 being OLD is changing rapidly.

This picture was taken at our Fremont Friends activity. K and T were born 5 days apart. Aren't the stylin'?
This picture cracks me up!

T is starting to sit up more. He still needs the help of the Boppy at times, but he is making big strides. He also has been moving around like crazy. He is not actually crawling yet, but that doesn't stop him at all! He rolls and just kicks around until he gets where he wants to go.

In these pictures, the newspaper add is in the same place. It took him about 5 seconds to move around like this!

I can't remember if I had posted a picture of his little chompers yet, so here is a good one! Say "Cheesey!"
T has really gotten the hang of his walker and is zooming all over in it.

This past week I had a great day with a friend from church. We went to Omaha to garage sale and found some great bargains! I was so excited. After bargain hunting we had a yummy meal at La Mesa, then topped it off with fabulous desserts at Wheatfields.

This little Sweat Pea told me her nose was enjoying her cupcake too!

Here is my friend's other little cutie.

Well, that is probably enough for now. Sorry about the novel here. Don't forget to add any ideas you have to the VBS comments.
