My baby is 6 months old. I can't believe how quickly time goes! He is doing so many new things and is getting more fun every day.

He is sitting up on his own really well now, and loves to play with his toys. I had picked up a couple "Little People" toys at a garage sale the other day thinking he would like them when he got older. On Wednesday when little Brad was here I got them out, and found out that both Brad and T love them! One is the Little People School Bus, and the other is the Farm Truck. He can really get ahold of them well, so he will grab them and drive them back and forth. So exciting! He also has a little alphabet toy that he adores playing with, again, much more than I thought he would. Here is just a little clip of that.




Oh, by the way, A says this toy will probably be up for grabs for the first taker sometime soon. Apparently you can only hear the alphabet song so many times before you go crazy! LOL.

On Thursday we started solid food. T loved it. I expected food all over his face and a good photo opportunity, but he just gobbled his cereal up. He would grab the spoon and shove it into his mouth, then get excited for the next bite. He ate up every drop.





T's favorite time of the day is when Daddy gets home. He can hardly wait! He will be fussy, fussy, and as soon as Daddy gets home he is happy as can be. He will even just sit outside in his little car or Bumbo for an hour as long as he can see what A is doing. It is so adorable to watch them together.

This week we had another play date with T's friend Z. Look how much they have grown!

Today is my Mom's birthday. Happy Birthday Mom! I have always had a great relationship with my Mom and love every opportunity that we have to be together, but I think becoming a mom myself has increased my appreciation for her even more. She has invested all of her life and energy into loving us. For that I am truly grateful. I love you Mom.
