Catching Up

It has been a while since I have posted on here. Seems like the time goes SO quickly during the Holiday season especially.
We had a great Thanksgiving here at our place. Some of A's family and my family both came down for the holiday. I am so thankful that we are close enough to get together with our family, and that we have such a great family that enjoy spending time with.
Last night T and I got back from a quick trip to Oklahoma City. My friend Alissa works for Psalm 98 Productions and they were doing an Avalon Christmas concert in OKC. Meeting Avalon was a lot of fun. They are such a down to earth group. We had a great time. I was able to visit Aunt LaVila and Uncle Paul while I was down there, and spend some quality time with Alissa while learning more about her job and what all she does to make the event happen. This was my first time flying post 9/11 and T's first time ever flying, but it all went really smoothly. This weekend was a busy one for airline travel, and there was crazy weather all over the nation, but we were very blessed to have no delays or problems along the way.
T surprised me with as much as he enjoyed the flight. I didn't think he would really notice much or care at this age, but he LOVED looking out the window at all the flurry of activity before takeoff and then was glued to the window when it was time to take off. At first I thought it was a fluke thing, but all 4 times he wanted to watch while we took off, then he would just look at me and grin and giggle. Being on the airplane gave him lots of time and new faces to flirt with and try to get some attention. He was very successful at it too!
We were both very happy to get home and see Daddy!
